Taxi driver, Filipina passenger killed in crash near Masjid Jamek LRT station in KL


KUALA LUMPUR: A driver and a Filipina passenger were killed while a Nigerian male passenger was seriously injured when the taxi they were travelling in collided with an out of control car in Jalan Tun Perak near the Jamek Mosque LRT station here on Saturday.

The crash occurred when a Perodua Myvi coming from Jalan Raja Chulan and heading towards the Merdeka Square skidded and went to the opposite direction and collided with the oncoming taxi at 4.20am, said Kuala Lumpur traffic chief ACP Rusli Mohd Noor.
