Lovelorn student and friends kidnap lecturer


A LECTURER was kidnapped from her house in Kanyakumari district, South India, by four students after she severed ties with one of them over a failed relationship, reported Malaysia Nanban.

Police said the 24-year-old lecturer, Jasmine Suji, had been in a relationship with a final-year student, Gowtham, adding that the couple eloped on March 8 after her parents objected to their relationship.
