Special heroes fund set up to aid families

MALACCA: A special heroes fund has been set up to provide financial assistance for the families of those killed and injured in the line of duty during the attacks by foreign insurgents in the east coast of Sabah.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said the aid would be extended to the families of the police commandos who sacrificed their lives and also those injured in the shootout.
