Let Kuantan school hold UEC exams, Dong Zong urged


THE United Chinese School Committees Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong) should assist a proposed Kuantan Chinese independent school to hold examinations for the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), Sin Chew Daily reported.

Kuantan Chinese independent school working committee executive adviser Tan Sri Pheng Yin Huah said Dong Zong should assist the setting up of the new school, which would be run based on the model used at the Chung Hwa Independent High School in Kuala Lumpur which offers both the UEC and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia.
