WORK on the RM23.2mil Tech-Dome Project (TDP), which will feature a Science Discovery Centre and Planetarium at the Komtar Geodesic Dome, is expected to begin after February next year.

Penang Tech Centre director Datuk Wong Siew Hai said a 2,372.31sq m area in the dome, which is currently being used as a multipurpose hall, will be renovated to showcase robotics, electronics and computing, and lighting technologies.
