It IS a common joke that in the world of comic book superheroes, nobody truly dies. No matter how beaten or defeated a character may be, they always recover, or even end up coming back from the dead, sometimes even more powerful than before.
And in a way, this is the underlying principle behind local company Eric Salvage. The company takes old or abused comic books (mostly of the superhero variety) and gives them a new lease of life by converting them into wallets, clutches and credit card holders.
