THE grand old building which gave birth to “The People’s Paper” is now a venue aimed at meeting the needs of Penang’s diverse communities, supporting their dreams and celebrating their achievements.

Offering 21,000sq ft of space spread over three levels, the building built in 1906 along Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling in George Town is now called The Star Pitt St. and is poised to be an arts, culture and heritage centre.
