108 women participate in special prayer session held at Hindu temple

A TOTAL of 108 women participated in a special pooja session (prayers) at the Maha Mariamman Temple in Buntong, Ipoh, on Saturday.

Dressed in traditional costumes, the women sat in front of the kundam (small fire pits) for nearly two hours to perform the rituals during the Maha Sakti Homam prayers.
