Paying more to repair cars damaged by sub-standard roads

CAR owners in Selangor are coughing up extra cash for vehicle maintenance as a result of sub-standard roads that are riddled with potholes, manhole covers that are sunken or jutting out, and uneven surfaces.

Petaling Jaya resident M. Manu, 50, said poor road maintenance and delay by the local authorities in resurfacing the roads were proving dangerous.
