Market in need of a facelift

PASAR Besar Jalan Othman in Petaling Jaya desperately needs a facelift. The 40-year-old market’s dilapidated condition, including poor lighting, wet and slippery floors and broken tiles, is turning away shoppers.

Vegetable wholesaler Elaine Choong said the poor maintenance and unhygienic conditions at the Petaling Jaya Old Town Market were a major turn-off.
