Community building for children with special needs

Children with learning disabilities from two schools came together at the Cruyff Court Iskandar (CCI)-Sunway Special Kids Carnival 2013 as part of an initiative to encourage community-building, foster self-confidence, and to remove misconceptions about children with special needs through the medium of play.

The carnival saw 50 children from SMK Bandar Sunway (Kelas Pendidkan Khas, SMK Bandar Sunway) and Sekolah Kanak-kanak Istimewa Johor Bahru come together for a day of fun and learning through play.
