Asia TV to help boost state’s aggressive tourism drive


KUCHING: Sarawak will get Hong Kong-based Asia Television Ltd (Asia TV) to help promote its tourism attractions to the rest of the world, particularly China.

Tourism Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg revealed that the state would rope in the broadcasting station to spread the word on Sarawak as an ideal and unique destination to Chinese-speaking nations with focus being on mainland China, Latin America and North America.
