China's Lo takes Chief Minister's Cup after a hard fight


KUCHING: Sixth seed Lo Chen Hsun of China battled hard in three sets to oust 12th seed Tim Van Rijthoven of Netherland to win the boys singles event title at the 22nd Sarawak Chief Minister’s Cup (II) ITF Junior Tennis Championship (Grade 3) yesterday (Oct 20).

The 14-year-old Lo lost the first set 2-6 but came in stronger in the second set to win 6-3 and sealed his victory in the third set 6-4 to lift the Chief Minister’s trophy.
