Raising funds to reach out to children of cancer patients

KUANTAN: The Breast Cancer Support Society Kuantan Pahang is organising another charity fair this year to raise funds for its ongoing community project.

Its president Datuk Dr Humairah Abdul Samad Cheung said the fair raised RM21,000 last year and a portion of the money was used for the Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Project, which helps new patients undergoing treatment at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan with a RM300 donation each to help with family expenses.
