KUCHING: Two plantation companies have succeeded in a court application to strike out a writ of summons and statement of claims made in connection with native customary rights (NCR) land disputes.
The High Court here has allowed the application of TH Plantations Bhd’s subsidiaries — TH Pelita Sadong Sdn Bhd and TH Pelita Gedong Sdn Bhd — to strike out a filing of a writ of summons and statement of claims by First Composite Sdn Bhd and 15 individuals.
