Some of the leading national and state players paid tribute to the memory of the late former hockey international Manjit Singh in the inaugural Cheers Hockey Veterans Tournament 2017 held at the Tun Razak Stadium.
The tournament was initiated by Manjit’s older brother, Jasbere Singh, also an ex-international. Manjit passed away on Dec 15, 2016 due to a lung infection.
