Old Frees shoot down high flyers

Players and officials from the Old Frees Association celebrating their success of being crowned TNB Penang Men’s Hockey League champion outgunning their Royal Malaysian Air Force rivals 4-2 on penalties after they were deadlocked 4-4 in regulation time at the USM artificial turfstadium in Penang.

IT was a case of experience that got thebetter of Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF)’s young team as the Old Frees Association (OFA) beat them on penalties in TNB Penang Men’s Hockey League final showdown.

The fighting-fit RMAF side may have been the early favourite for the league crown but the OFA outfit were unfazed.
