DAP to explain the use of PKR logo in GE14

DAP party members will go down to the ground to explain to the people the reason why the party is using the PKR logo in the general election, said Penang DAP chairman Chow Kon Yeow.

He said it was important that the people especially the older generation understood why there was no rocket logo this time.

“We should make them understand as we are going to contest as a united voice against Barisan Nasional,” said Chow during a DAP ceramah at the Penang Chinese Town Hall recently.

State DAP deputy chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said the Pakatan Harapan government in Penang had kept its promise in providing affordable housing to the people over the last 10 years.

“There is not even a single unit of affordable housing by Barisan in the state, and yet they want to promise 65,000 units in their manifesto.”

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, who was the final speaker said the state’s policies benefited every individual including the youths and senior citizens.

“No one was left out from the development and progress in Penang.

“The people are definitely better off today compared to 10 years ago,” he added.
