Veteran archer takes aim with a business selling archery equipment

IT WAS his passion for archery that got Tan Peng Loon, co-founder of Elite Sport Distributor, to set up a partnership in 2013 to distribute archery equipment in Malaysia and the South-East Asian region.

Tan, who is also the company’s general manager, says starting the business came naturally because archery is in his blood. He was the Malaysia Games (Sukma) archery coach for the Federal Territory Sports Council from 1998 to 2014.
