KUANTAN: It is the time of the year to have an elaborate reunion feast with family members from near and far.

Executive chef Mohd Mazli Abdollah said he and his team have specially prepared authentic Chinese festive dishes.
Topping the list is yee sang with sliced salmon, which is a must-have ritual to toss to good fortune, health and wealth.
“To the Chinese, yee sang is a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigour,” he said.
The Prosperity yee sang menus are priced at RM1,188 nett onwards at San Feng Chinese Restaurant.
Some of the signature dishes are Signature Steamed Sea Bass with Tangy Nyonya Sauce, Traditional Steamed Red Snapper with Soy Sauce, Traditional Steamed Tiger Grouper with Soy Sauce, Nostalgic Pearl Lotus Leaf Rice and Double-Boiled Ginseng with Sea Coconut.
Other promotions include a Chinese New Year Oriental buffet dinner at The Dining Room from now until March 2.
The price is RM88 nett for adults and RM48 nett for children while there is a 30% discount for senior citizens.
For every three full paying adult diners, one will eat for free.
In addition, there is the Prosperous Chinese New Year buffet on Feb 15, 16 and 17.
The buffet is priced at RM128 nett for adults, RM68 nett for children and senior citizens will get to enjoy a 30% discount.
For larger groups or private dinners, diners can opt for the ballrooms and other event spaces.
In conjunction with Valentine’s Day on Feb 14, there will be an international buffet dinner priced at RM128 nett for adults and RM68 nett for children.
For a romantic dinner in a private setting, Zen Bar is offering a Valentine’s Candle Light set dinner at RM198 nett per person, inclusive of a glass of house wine or sparkling juice and chocolate praline.
