DIVE into an ocean of marine treasures at Spice Market Cafe's Seafood Buffet Dinner and pamper the taste buds with waves of pleasure.

Laid out every Friday and Saturday night, the promotion at Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa, Penang's stylish eatery, is a connoisseur's delight.

With bountiful assortments of fresh crustaceans, molluscs and fish alongside other meaty offerings, it is primed for indulgent feasting.

Start by raiding the barrels brimming with seafood on ice like prawns, yabbies, mussels, slipper lobsters or snow crabs.

Delicate slices of sashimi from the Japanese station, be it salmon, tuna, butterfish, mackerel, octopus or surf clams, should be next on your must-eat list.

Take your pick from the vibrant variety of sushi rolls, or try the Seared Tuna with Sweet and Sour Onion Marmalade, as well as Corn and Smoked Fish Chowder.

Enjoy aquatic morsels Indian style with Tandoori Prawn skewers, Prawn Masala or Fish and Potato Curry, or go Western with the Seafood Thermidor or Sweet and Sour Salmon Fillets.

Those preferring local flavours will enjoy Mud Crabs in Sweet and Sour Sauce, Wok-fried Garoupa with Macadamia Nuts, and Thai Red Curry Snapper.

Complementing those are other hot items like Gnocchi with Chicken Sausage, Slow-braised Beef Cheek, Roasted Chicken and Lamb Cutlets.

At the carving station, there could be a whole Salmon with Creamed Spinach in Puff Pastry, alongside succulent prime cuts like Roast Sirloin of Beef.

Remember to visit the adjacent Live Lobster Station, which serves up the giant crustaceans in Nyonya Sauce or Spicy Bean Sauce. Sometimes, there might be other treats.

Have a freshly made bowl of springy delight from the Noodle Station, then finish off with desserts like White Chocolate Passionfruit Bavarois, Mango Creme Brulee, crepes, pastries and ice cream.

The buffet is priced at RM198 for adults and RM99 for children. Menus may differ from week to week, depending on what seafood is available.

Besides this, the cafe also offers a 6-in-1 International Buffet Dinner every Sunday to Thursday at RM169 adults and RM64 children. A special P60 offer applies for its Monday and Tuesday sessions, whereby adults only pay 60% of the price.

Alternatively, treat the family to the Sunday Brunch that goes at RM140 adults and RM70 kids, including lucky draws and use of the resort's mini putting green.

The brunch spread is laid out from noon to 3pm, while both dinner buffets are available from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
