Dept: Faulty wiring and electrical appliances cause of fires

MELAKA: A total of 71 cases of fires out of 2,465 recorded last year occurred due to faulty wiring and electrical appliances that led to short-circuits, said Melaka Fire and Rescue Department director Kamarulzaman Malik Abdullah.
