KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is set to become a key ammonia producer in the region with a proposed second plant to manufacture the chemical at the Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park.
Assistant Minister of Industrial Development Datuk Bolkiah Ismail said the USD800mil (RM3.4bil) plant was expected to be operational by 2021.
