DBKL recruits youths to help clean up city

KUALA Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) can save more than 50% in costs for cleaning and beautification works through the recruitment of volunteers, its Socio-Ecocomic Development executive director Datuk Ibrahim Yusoff said.

Ibrahim explained that the cost of any such work escalated when given to a contractor, who would charge manpower and logistics fees.
