Heavy vehicles blamed for road damage

JOHOR BARU: Overloaded heavy vehicles using the 77km Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE) have been identified as the main cause for the wear and tear along the expressway.

Senai-Desaru Expressway Bhd (SDEB) chief executive officer Jamal Abdol Nasir Taharim said he hoped that the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and relevant authorities will take action against them.
