WHILE the term “Iron Lady” is normally associated with former UK prime minister Margaret Thatcher, it is also perfect for Dr Fauziah Hasan.

For 22 hours in October, after being detained of the coast of Gaza, she was held captive, put under pressure to sign deportation papers and also answer questions posed by the Israeli authorities.
