Businesses hit by slow pace of road works

Not fast enough: Workers laying paving stones on Jalan Dato

BUSINESSES operating along the Gerbang Malam night market stretch of Jalan Dato’ Tahwil Azar in Ipoh, which has been closed for upgrading works, want the Ipoh City Council to step up their efforts to get the job completed as soon as possible.

A notice was handed out to shopowners informing them that the road would be closed to motorists from Oct 25 to Nov 18. The notice also requested vehicle owners to refrain from parking their cars on the road shoulder from 8am to 7pm so the resurfacing could be done.
