THE PERAK Health Department is stepping up its efforts to eradicate mosquito breeding grounds in all dengue-prone areas in the state to prevent the spread of the Zika virus.

State Health Director Datuk Dr Juita Ghazalie said, currently the inspection of premises for Aedes breeding grounds is being carried out, with health personnel also spreading larvacide.
