JOHOR BARU: The government has rejected 7,000 applications for the Rumah Mampu Milik Johor (RMMJ) throughout the state due to many reasons, including failure of getting housing loans as well as applicants no longer being interested in the units.
State Housing and Local Government committee chairman Datuk Abdul Latiff Bandi said the figure involves applications that were made since RMMJ was launched several years ago until recently.
