Developer brings a little bit of Europe to Malaysia in show of appreciation

ECO World Development Group Bhd is taking Parents Day to a whole new level by turning the celebration into a three-week festival called Ewro Fest 2016.

A total of 10 sales galleries across the country will be hosting fun activities for visitors, providing them and their families a chance to create wonderful memories together.

Besides honouring parents for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifices, EcoWorld is also taking the opportunity to feature the festivities surrounding Euro 2016.

The selected sales galleries will each feature a European country such as Italy, France, Ireland, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands, from decorations and food to activities, in which everyone will get to experience each country uniqueness.

The launch of Ewro Fest 2016 was held at EcoWorld International Centre (EWIC), The Gardens North Tower, where it was decked with all things British such as a red telephone box and a London bus.

Guests also had the opportunity to watch the famed Corps of Drums of the Welsh Guards and take pictures with a living golden statue.

Launching the event was EcoWorld chairman Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin, together with British Trade and Investment Malaysia director Tony Collingridge.

According to Liew, many young people are busy with work these days, and may not be able to spend time with their family or travel.

“Since many are so busy these days, we decided to bring the attractions instead so that they can enjoy them with their families, and at the same time, spend some quality time together at Ewro Fest 2016.

“Parents play a major role in moulding the younger generation and shaping them into great individuals. We should appreciate our parents for their sacrifices.

“At EcoWorld, we create more than just a project. We also strive to create a community; that is family within our neighbourhood,” Liew said, adding that they are delighted to bring the festival to their communities in the Klang Valley, Iskandar Malaysia and Penang.

The selected sales galleries celebrating Ewro Fest 2016 are Eco Majestic, Eco Sky, Eco Sanctuary, Bukit Bintang City Centre and EWIC at Klang Valley; Eco Botanic, Eco Spring and Eco Summer and Eco Tropics at Iskandar Malaysia; and Eco Terraces and Eco Meadows in Penang.

Visitors can look forward to many activities including kids arts workshop, 2D Pisa Tower card workshop, giant family board game, Venetian walking tables, pasta art, Tarantella Dance, face sticker tattoo, pinwheel making, mini skyrider, popcorn card and Eco car wash.

There will also be several contests for children to participate like the Little Prince and Princess contest at Eco Sanctuary and Kids Colouring Contest at Eco Terraces.
