Exciting lineup for heritage event

The staff of GTWHI and programme partners getting together to promote the George Town Heritage Celebrations.

THE George Town Heritage Celebrations 2016 will mark the eighth anniversary of the city’s inscription as a Unesco heritage site.

With the theme ‘Mai Main’ (come and play), the event from July 7 to July 9 will feature traditional sports and games from the multicultural communities of Penang.
