Ache-free running in Ipoh

NO MORE muscle aches for participants of Ipoh Starwalk this year as they will receive pain-relieving patches in their goodie bags.

Delfi Marketing Sdn Bhd returns as sponsor this year to contribute sachets of Salonpas patches worth RM15,000.

The company’s Healthcare Division Product Executive Steffi Chuah said this was the company’s sixth time sponsoring the fun walk.

“Participants might experience muscle aches during or after the walk, the Salonpas patch contains vitamin E and gives a cooling sensation to the affected area, providing relief to the discomfort,” said Chuah, adding that the patches also help relieve backaches, joint pains, arthritis and sprains.

Chuah said she personally thinks the event is a good way for families to bond as it encourages people to walk, making it suitable for all ages.

Ipoh Starwalk 2016 is organised by Star Media Group in collaboration with Ipoh City Council, Perak Education Department and Perak Athletics Association.

Perak Turf Club is the official venue sponsor while telecommunications company YES is the platinum sponsor while the silver sponsors are F&N, Federal Oats, Julie’s, Spritzer and MattressCiti. Weil Hotel is the official hotel for the event while Perak Turf Club is the official venue sponsor.

The non-competitive walk will be flagged off at the Perak Turf Club on Jalan Raja DiHilir, Ipoh, at 7am on May 22.

Starwalkers can collect their T-shirt and goodie bags ahead of time between May 18 and 21 at Star Media Group Bhd, No 8-10, Lorong Chung Thye Phin, Ipoh, Perak, from 9am to 5pm.
