Petaling Jaya’s plan to recruit and train auxiliary police gets approval


An auxiliary police vehicle on its crime prevention rounds at the Bandar Sunway commercial area in Petaling Jaya.

PETALING Jaya will be the first local government in the country to have its own auxiliary police team made up of 30 personnel starting tomorrow.

However, the auxiliary police will not be involved with crime prevention rounds but tasked to patrol all the city council premises from next month.
