IT WAS the love for a temple and its patron goddess that prompted a musician to create an album of devotional songs.

Singer Rajaraja Cholan said he was inspired by the history of the Sri Muthumariamman Temple in Pantai Dalam, Kuala Lumpur, to create the 10-song album titled Mari Muthumari.
