SIBU: The Opposition despite serving two terms in 12 urban seats especially in the dominantly Chinese areas has done nothing much except “yelling at the top of their voice”, according to Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh.
At a Chinese New Year gathering organised by United Chinese Association in Sibu on Thursday night, Soon Koh said in the last two state elections, the majority of the Chinese voted for the Opposition, bringing about polarisation of racial politics – a phenomenon which they needed to arrest.
