JOHOR BARU: Singapore is also tightening checks at all its border crossing with Malaysia to prevent the smuggling of electronic cigarettes or vapours into the country, as all these products are strictly prohibited in the country.

Security officials said that over the past four months, at least two cases of smuggling of e-cigarettes have been detected at the Woodlands check-point, with the latest case reported two weeks ago.
