“We want to bring out the confidence in women through hijab,” she said, adding that their hijab enabled women to look “effortlessly chic”.
Neelofa, who is also the brand’s ambassador, said that while the label was only launched last year, it has seen phenomenal growth, with their products being sold in Brunei, Germany, France and the United Kingdom, among other countries.
Their materials are sourced locally and from countries such as South Korea, China and Japan. Everything is manufactured locally.
The 26-year-old added that not all celebrities were successful in their businesses despite being famous.
During the event, Neelofa also announced that she was scheduled to release a book called The Chic Codes in January 2016, chronicling her challenges and journey in life.
