KUALA LUMPUR: Ho Wah Genting Bhd
has appointed PM Care as the non-exclusive distributor of its antigen detection kit.
Under the terms of the agreement, PM Care will promote the antigen detection kit to end-purchasers at agreed retail prices, said Ho Wah in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
PM Care is involved in the provision of healthcare management and administration services, according to the statement.
Ho Wah Genting had announced on April 30 this year that its subsidiary HWGB Medical Devices & Supplies Sdn Bhd had been granted a special access approval on the distribution of the OJABIO SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Detection Kit manufactured by Xiamen Jiqing Biomedical Technology Co Ltd, in Malaysia.
At 12.30pm, shares in Ho Wah Genting were down 1.5 sen or 4.11% to 35 sen a share on the back of 1.73 million units done.
