Barakah gets Sapura contract


PETALING JAYA: Barakah Offshore Petroleum Bhd has been awarded a five-year contract for the provision of Pan-Malaysia maintenance, construction and modification (MCM) services under Package A by Sapura Energy Bhd.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing yesterday, Barakah said the total value of the contract would depend on the actual scope of work orders to be issued by Sapura Exploration and Production Inc (Sapura E&P), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sapura Energy, from 2018 to 2023.
