Sultan Ibrahim raises his stake in 7-Eleven to 9.2%


KUALA LUMPUR: Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has increased his stake in convenience store operator 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd to 9.22%.

Filings with Bursa Malaysia showed he had acquired an additional 2.44 million shares on Aug 28 to 30.

The latest acquisitions increased his shareholding in 7-Eleven to 102.40 million shares.

Shares of 7-Eleven closed unchanged at RM1.40 on Tuesday.
