Malindo Air receives IATA certificate

KUALA LUMPUR: Malindo Air has received its International Air Transportation Association (IATA) certificate as an IATA member.

Malindo Air’s CEO Chandran Rama Muthy said on Friday that as a premium service airline, “we will be able to create better values and achieve more by being an IATA member”.

“We have continued to set ourselves at par with the international aviation standard, and we hope to raise the bar collectively with our partners in the industry.”

Malindo Air was the recent winner of CAPA’s 2016 Asia Pacific Regional Airline of the Year and the IATA certificate is another feather in its cap.

Prior to attaining this IATA membership, Malindo Air had been certified by the IATA Operational Safety Audit.

The audit is an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control system of an airline.
