Benchmark palm oil futures for November on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by 3 percent to 2,595 ringgit per tonne at the end of the trading day, their strongest daily surge since Aug. 17.
The contract earlier reached an intraday high of 2,598 ringgit, its strongest level in over a week.
