EPF's fully syariah-compliant investment scheme will excude conventional banking


Prudent move: Simpanan Syariah’s investments will still be guided by its strategic asset allocation model, with the objective of preserving and enhancing the value of members’ retirement savings.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund’s (EPF) fully syariah-compliant investment scheme or Simpanan Syariah that will kick in next year will exclude conventional banking from its investment portfolio.

Nevertheless, its investments will still be guided by its strategic asset allocation model, with the objective of preserving and enhancing the value of members’ retirement savings, the retirement fund said in a statement here.
