Shares of AirAsia, AirAsia X flying high

Strong rally: AirAsia closed at RM2.16 yesterday on a volume of 48.13 million shares, while AirAsia X closed at 38 sen on a volume of 49.93 million shares.

PETALING JAYA: The share prices of AirAsia Bhd (AirAsia) and AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) have risen by 5.4% and 1.3% respectively in anticipation of the groups’ first quarter results and passenger yield data announcements.

Analysts are expecting the results to be “fairly positive”.
