KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI resumed its downtrend after a brief respite yesterday alongside broadly weaker Asian markets as emerging market currencies came under renewed pressure from a resurgence in the dollar.
The KLCI fell by 9.16 points to 1,648.42 points at the midday close with the benchmark index having fallen in seven out the past eight trading days.
