Rohana redesignated group CEO of Astro

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Rohana Rozhan (pic) has been redesignated as group chief executive officer of Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd from chief executive officer.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the media and entertainment group said this was intended to better reflect her role and responsibilities in the group.

Rohana, 53, was appointed as CEO on April 1, 2011. Prior to that, she had been group chief financial officer of Astro All Asia Networks Ltd, where she was instrumental in its listing on the Main Board of Bursa malaysia (then KLSE) in 2003.
