Lower income group most affected by inflation

PETALING JAYA: The Bank Negara Annual Report 2015 has revealed that there was a higher inflation rate for the lower income groups across most states in Malaysia.

Households in the bottom 20% of the income group experienced inflation rates that were 0.12 to 1.10 percentage points higher than households in the top 20% of the income group.
