Bullish tone set to prevail


REVIEW: In the absence of fresh catalysts on the horizon, shares on Bursa Malaysia kicked off the week on an easier note, with the FBM Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) losing 1.46 points to 1,661.98.

Blue-chips led declines on lack of support from institutional players ahead of the release of a series of economic data during the week, and renewed worries about the health of the world’s second biggest economy, exacerbated by an uninspiring US markets overnight.
