SC turns down CLIQ Energy request for more time


Datuk Kamarudin Meranun has entered into a settlement with the Securities Commission for RM3.64mil over the purchase of 5.55 million Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAS) shares between Aug 1, 2011 and Aug 5, 2011.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission has turned CLIQ Energy Bhd’s request for more time to acquire its qualifying asset and this will see it liquidating the company and returning the monies to the entitled shareholders.
