DRB-Hicom to issue RM2b Sukuk, mainly to fund Proton

KUALA LUMPUR: DRB-Hicom Bhd has proposed to issue up to RM2bil perpetual Sukuk, of which the proceeds are mainly to fund car maker Proton Holding Bhd’s working capital and development expenditure.

Malaysian Rating Corporation Bhd (MARC) had on Monday assigned a preliminary rating of AIS to the proposed perpetual Sukuk Musharakah programme.
